Student testimonials:
Jennifer, Fused Glass with Barb Greene: “I didn’t feel rushed and there was great color variation in the available materials. Also, the process was very accessible — no huge learning curve, which was nice and relaxing.”
Donna, Mixed Media Collage with Ashley Rodriguez-Reed: “Amazed at the excitement she created for me to do and continue this.”
Andrew, Glassblowing with Ed Fennell: “The best two hours I have spent in a long time. Definitely will recommend to friends.”

- 7 p.m. CREATIVITY THROUGH MOVEMENT with Joel Egger at Hot Shops Art Center $10 at the door
This event is part of Omaha Creative Week. “Creating theatre out of nothing, but each other.” Facilitated by Joel Egger, the workshop focuses on a sense of play and experiment using nothing more than the other actors/participants in the room or the simplified impulse of the performer. The time will concentrate on a technique of improvisation providing a vocabulary for thinking about and acting upon movement and gesture. In addition to that technique, participants will experiment with text, song, music, and the physical space to inform the story they’ll tell. Pre-registration appreciated by e-mailing marjorie@omahacreativeinstitute.org.
