Welcome, Andrew Saladino, our new Executive Director!

Omaha Creative Institute is proud to announce our new Executive Director, Andrew Saladino! Andrew has previously worked at the American Red Cross and The Rose Theater, and is a lover of the performing arts. Here's a little more about him:

Andrew has always been involved in the arts in some capacity. He played drums and percussion throughout elementary, middle, high school, and college (until he tragically broke his hand jumping out of a golf car to impress a girl--it didn't work). He never quite took to drawing and visual art (being kinda color blind), but he found his love and outlet in theater and the performing arts. So he earned his BA in Theater Education at the University of New Hampshire. After graduation, he worked at The Rose Theater here in Omaha as a Teaching Artist and then at TADA! Youth Theater in NYC on their development team. He comes to OCI from the Red Cross where he worked as a Major Gift Officer. Artistically, he still teaches, directs, and designs on occasion at The Rose and around town. But mostly he likes to watch Netflix and cuddle with his adorable dachshund, Indiana Jones, and wife, Jennifer Ettinger.
